  "message": "sphinx: parser_yaml.py: fix line numbers information\n\nAs reported by Donald, this code:\n\n\trst_parser \u003d RSTParser()\n\trst_parser.parse(\u0027\\n\u0027.join(result), document)\n\nbreaks line parsing. As an alternative, I tested a variant of it:\n\n\trst_parser.parse(result, document)\n\nbut still line number was not preserved. As Donald noted,\nstandard Parser classes don\u0027t have a direct mechanism to preserve\nline numbers from ViewList().\n\nSo, instead, let\u0027s use a mechanism similar to what we do already at\nkerneldoc.py: call the statemachine mechanism directly there.\n\nI double-checked when states and statemachine were introduced:\nboth were back in 2002. I also tested doc build with docutils 0.16\nand 0.21.2.
