In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
kunit/fortify: Fix mismatched kvalloc()/vfree() usage
The kv*() family of tests were accidentally freeing with vfree() instead
of kvfree(). Use kvfree() instead.
The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2024-38617 to this issue.

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes. Individual
